Mineral Srl is synonymous with excellence and dedication in the supply of raw materials for the industry.
Mineral was established in 1988 with the initial goal of trading raw materials for ceramics, utilizing qualified technical and commercial sales systems supported by a dedicated research laboratory.
From the very beginning, Mineral found support from a leading global company: Alcoa (Aluminium Company of America), a world leader in aluminum production. In collaboration with Alcoa’s Ludwigshafen laboratory, Mineral developed new types of aluminum oxide with chemical-physical properties different from those previously known, catering to diverse market needs.

Mineral is also engaged in mining research, studying feldspar deposits in the Milas region of western Turkey.
The results obtained encouraged Mineral to continue in this direction and enhance its geo-exploration activities. This led to further research on granite deposits in Baveno, near Lake Maggiore, and Corongiu, in southern Sardinia.
Over the years, Mineral has strengthened its relationships with its suppliers, particularly with Caobar, for which it serves as a distribution agent, and with Alcoa. Starting in 2002, Mineral developed a ship-based import project for calcined alumina from the Alcoa plant in S. Ciprian, Spain. Between 2003 and 2009, it stored around 40,000 tons of material at a warehouse near the Port of Genoa.
Since 2009, the warehouse has been relocated to the Port of Ravenna to offer even more efficient service to its customers. Approximately 10,000 tons of material are stored annually and supplied directly to customers in bags, big bags, or tankers.

To this day, Mineral continues its search for new materials and, thanks to its relationships with producers from various countries, is able to supply not only its traditional products but also a wide range of glaze materials. These include, among others, bentonite, zinc oxide, and screen-printing additives.
